The Browning Superposed is one of the finest over/under shotguns in history and one of John Browning’s most notable designs.  Produced in plain jane field grades to the most elaborately engraved and finely stocked shotguns ever seen, production of the Browning Superposed was done in Belgium, running strong from 1931 through 1976 when production stopped.   This is the Browning Superposed "LIGHTNING" in 20ga., weighing in at 6lbs. 3oz. and choked IC/M, making it a fine gun for sporting clays or upland birds!   This gun, sn30195 V3, was made in 1963 and has excellent factory finish wood with some field marks.  These guns are usually found showing lots of wear on the bottom of the receiver with significant nicks and dings in the wood.  It is a rare find to have one in this great of condition.  Just look at the 99% factory blue barrels, 99% factory blue receiver, condition of wood, excellent screws and checkering, and factory buttplate.  Guns built between 1969 and 1971 were prone to having “saltwood”, and this was built in 1963 before saltwood was an issue.   The Belgium Superposed 20ga. guns have been going up in value in the last year or two, so they are a great investment quality gun that will be worth more in the future as you care for it and enjoy its use.  You have a choice between showing up at the gun club or hunt with a modern gun that everyone else has, or a classic Belgium Browning shotgun that will make you smile every time you pick it up.  Specifications can be seen below, and the photos tell the rest of the story.  Thanks for looking!
