Search long and hard and you will not find another Beretta 627 EL 20 gauge for sale anywhere in the USA.  The Beretta 627 EL is a deluxe side x side upland gun imported to the U.S. from 1985 to 1991.  These guns were and are rock solid upland guns with the Beretta reputation to back that up.  Do not confuse the Model 627 EL with the more common Beretta side x sides you see advertised as entry level bird guns.  The 627 EL has deluxe features including a sidelplated action with 80% coverage of hand-cut rose and scroll engraving, engine turned barrel flats and water table, Beretta screw-in chokes, a bullet-proof single selective trigger as seen on the competition over/under guns, automatic ejectors, and simply gorgeous European walnut stocks with full-figured fiddleback throughout the buttstock and forend.  The hand-cut 28LPI checkering is executed to perfection as is the superb wood-to-metal fit.  The petite beavertail feels just right in hand and the gun balances perfectly just forward of the hinge pin and weighs just 6 1/4lbs.  THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SHOTGUN AT HOME IN THE FIELD OR ON THE CLAYS COURSE.  The screw-in chokes make the gun super versatile for all your shooting needs.  This gun has seen little use, with a few minor safe marks in the wood and 99% factory condition throughout.  The mechanics are perfect as well, with strong well-timed ejectors, crisp trigger pulls, and the action that is tight as new with the top lever well to the right.  This gun has it all…affordability, rarity, dynamic handling characteristics, and drop-dead good looks.  If you like Italian side x sides, don’t hesitate on this one as she is really quite rare.  Thanks for looking!
