The AYA Nº 2 is the pre-eminent "affordable" sidelock double gun. Mechanically, the Nº 2 is modeled on the time-tested Holland & Holland system.  Sidelock guns made with a standard action have elegant drop points and traditional raised ridge surrounding the lock plate for a fine finished look. Purdey guns are an example of such a traditional action.  This beautiful example built in 2013 is literally “AS NEW” with over 99% factory finishes throughout.  This AyA No.2 displays all the “BEST GUN” features you would find on one of the finest shotguns ever made…the Holland & Holland Royal.  General Specs are:  Side-by-side hammerless sidelock ejector shotgun, forged steel action with double underlugs and beaded fences, fitted with gas vents, hardened steel intercepting safety sears, gold lined cocking indicators, double triggers with hinged front trigger finely struck 29” chopper lump barrels (special order, few seen with these long barrels) with concave rib, engraving at breech, English scroll engraving is done by hand, stock is English style with a hand-rubbed oil finish, nicely figured with a blank silver oval for initials.  There is no wear on the barrels, triggers, trigger guard, checkering or wood finish.  All is 99.5% factory finishes without flaw.  There are two tiny handling marks nearly invisible on the right side of the butt stock.  The action is tight as new, bores are perfect as are the screws.  Weighing a delightful 6 ¼ pounds and balanced perfectly 3/16” ahead of the hinge pin with its 29” barrels and 14 3/4” long stock, this is a fantastic buy.  With its IC/M chokes, she is the ultimate upland gun that would do well at sub-gauge sporting clays warming up for the fast-approaching hunting season.  We have Negrini high-quality travel cases in stock.  Let us know if you want a fantastic, airline approved case for your fine new AyA.  Comes with the original factory box with retail stickers on it. Thanks for looking and don’t miss out on this fine little 28ga. work of art.
